Church and religious groups
| Boston is an important destination for lots of different religious groups, thanks to our heritage and important place in American history and culture. We have hosted Unitarian coming-of-age classes, Christian Scientist conventions, and Jewish service groups, to name a few. We offer not only full itinerary planning, but we can also help you set up service-learning projects and budget recreational and educational events and programs. We are the ideal location for the mix of fun, service, and reflection that your religious or church group is looking for - and we can save you a substantial amount of money. |
School groups
| Classes and clubs from elementary school through college are welcome at the Fenway Hostel. We will help you design an itinerary that is both educational and fun for your class, or help you further explore the interests of your club. Reserve the group kitchen to cook your meals and have meetings and discussions. Although Boston is mostly known for its history - and the Freedom Trail is always a hit - our city is a valuable resource in many other areas as well. For architecture students, we can arrange walking tours of the city and meetings at the Boston Architecture Center. For those studying literature, how about a day trip to Walden Pond and a walk down Boston’s Literary Trail? For science classes, you can’t beat a tour of MIT, a visit to the Harvard Museum of Natural History, and a free look at the stars from the Boston University Observatory. Conferences and Conventions
| Because we occupy such a central location, we have many people stay with us who are attending conferences and conventions. Let us know when you make the reservation what you will be attending and when and we will make every effort to place you with other attendees. The Hynes Convention Center is a 20-minutes walk from us(or 1 stop by subway). Virtually any other meeting space in Boston is less than 20 minutes by T. For event organizers looking to guarantee space for attendees, we can offer special rates and will work with you to set up accommodations that fit your needs. In the past several years alone we have hosted the American Political Science Association, America Chemical Society, the Conflict Studies Conference at University of Massachusetts, and the Dzogchen Community Conference- among many others.
