Orchestras, bands, and other musical groups
| Boston is also the home of some of the best music schools and venues in the country. Berklee School of Music and the New England Conservatory are world-renowned - and we are located rigth around the corner from them. In 2002 alone HI-Boston has accommodated participants in the A Capella East Coast Summit, the entire Liverpool Youth Orchestra, and attendees to the Boston Early Music Festival. We can provide a safe place for you and your instruments, plus we can help arrange performances and even have you play in the hostel for our other guests! |
Sports teams and clubs

Summer in Boston means Red Sox baseball. A summer evening spent at classic Fenway Park, watching a Red Sox game in the twilight, is perhaps the most perfect showcase for our city. And it is located just around the corner from HI-Fenway! We have tickets available for selected games - go to a game with other hostellers, and have a one-of-a-kind sports experience and meet your fellow travelers at the same time. We also have tickets to some of the many excellent college teams in the area, like Boston University soccer. Of course we also host many other sports teams and fans; an international basketball tournament, rugby squads from England and Australia, and the International Gay & Lesbian Football Association World Cup to name a few. Bring your team to Boston and check out everything our sports-mad city has to offer! |

Making reservations at other hostels
| If you are planning to travel to multiple hostels, the Group Sales Department at the Fenway Hostel can take care of making all of the arrangements on your behalf. You won’t have to make lots of long-distance phone calls, or send out separate checks. We can book for you anywhere in the US at any of the Hostelling International facilities (click here for listing) , and for a special rate also. Need a coach or car rental to take you there?
